Masham

Masham is a small market town in the Harrogate district of North Yorkshire. It is situated in Wensleydale, on the western Bank of the river Ure, and is on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The town is well known for sheep farming, and for its sacking by the Vikings in 900AD. It is also home to the breweries Black Sheep and Theakstons.
